Study at NPTC
NPTC is working hard to ensure that we provide a college and an environment which is welcoming and accessible to all. We aim to offer a comprehensive provision that is inclusive regardless of gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religious belief or ethnicity. In order to achieve this aim and to meet our statutory obligations we have a range of policies and schemes in place which you can access using the links below. Please contact the College if you have any concerns about access and facilities or have a question or comment about our schemes and other publications.
Throughout the year we hold training sessions, awareness-raising events, peer-led education classes and drop-in sessions. All events will be posted on the College's noticeboard and you are welcome to contact us at any time for further details regarding any of them.
Our Stakeholder Group is a cross section of people who are interested in one or more strands of diversity and make a contribution to our work throughout the year, whether through attending events, commenting on our schemes or action plans, providing detailed feedback on our work or by supporting awareness-raising sessions.
Members of the group will not require specialist knowledge or experience nor will they need to make a regular time commitment to the group; enthusiasm and interest are the most important factors for successful participation. If you are interested in joining the group please let us know.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve the education and other services we provide, particularly in relation to diversity issues, and welcome any comments or suggestions from students, parents or carers, staff, partners and members of the community.
If you have any queries or comments regarding the above, please get in touch with the Diversity Officer, Lesley Blower on 01639 648175 or firstname.lastname@example.org
