The School of Catering, Bakery and Hospitality is situated in a self contained, purpose-built block housing a training restaurant, bakery shop plus specialist production kitchens, bakeries and teaching rooms.
Over the years the school has maintained its reputation for producing high quality training in all aspects of the course provision. Students have recently achieved Medals of Excellence for Sugar Craft, Gold and Silver medals for their cookery skills and the Paragon Training Restaurant won best College Restaurant in Wales and the West of England 2004.
Career and employment opportunities are great and we have past students all over the world as well as in senior positions in local establishments.
We have a dedicated team of staff that closely monitor the students' progress. Part-time students can be assessed in the workplace as well as at College.
The course provision starts with entry Level 1 in Catering and finishes at HND in Hospitality.
The main full- and part-time qualifications are:
Short courses in Food Hygiene, Basic Health and Safety, Nutrition and Healthy Eating are also available within the School.
